OUR AIMS in 2017
The Wey Valley Fisheries Consultative Association (WVFCA) is a voluntary group made up of individuals, clubs, businesses and organizations. Its aim is to represent and coordinate interests in fisheries, angling and conservation in the River Wey Catchment. The four main objectives of the WVFCA are:
- Represent fisheries, angling and conservation interests & to act as an information corridor for its members.
- Work with others, including the Wey Landscape Partnership (WLP) & Environment Agency (EA), to protect and improve for future generations stillwaters, rivers and the navigation in the Wey Catchment.
- Increase awareness of fisheries, angling and conservation through the collection and sharing of best practice via Seminars and other events.
- To seek & distribute funding for environmental and fisheries improvement
